Hospital & School Health Education Unit:
- Plans, develops, implements and evaluates hospital and clinic health education programmes.
- Develops guidelines for patient education programmes.
- Assists in planning and conducting in-service training courses for different categories of hospital and clinic staff members.
- Provides support for effective implementation of hospital and clinic education programmes.
- Supervises and monitors hospital and clinic education programmes.
- Assists in planning, developing and implementing school health education programmes.
- Assists in designing and developing health education curricula for teacher training institutes and colleges.
- Liaises with the school health section of DGHS and the school health education cell of the Directorates of Primary & Secondary Education for effective implementation of school health education programmes.
- Assists in developing teaching resource materials in health education for primary and secondary schools as well as for teacher training institutes and colleges.
- Supervises monitors and follows up school health education programmes.
