Since 1958, BHE has been working to bring about behavioral changes among Bangladeshi people to improve their health and welfare.
This covers a wide variety of health topics, including non-communicable diseases, immunization, safe motherhood, nutrition, diarrheal diseases, acute respiratory infections, accidents, hygiene, food safety, HIV, and violence against women, among others.
BHE communicates key messages through a range of strategies, including interpersonal communication, billboards, folk songs, and electronic and print media.
